Toronto Christmas Market

June 02, 2016

Merry merry everyone! Now that we are in the depths of a very hot spring-soon-to-be-summer, it's nice to think of those chilly days that are on the horizon, especially the chilly, festive days! If you enjoy taking in the sights and smells of the holidays like I do, and you live in Toronto, then you most likely will have heard of the Toronto Christmas Market.

Open for about a month every year, from mid-November to mid-December, the Toronto Christmas Market has so many amazing things to see and do. There are so many different outdoor vendors to peruse, all the while enjoying a steaming hot chocolate. All kinds of food, meats, Christmas related products, and an outdoor heated beer garden are only a small portion of what makes the Toronto Christmas Market amazing.

A beautifully decorated tree lights up the main area of the market, and you can also buy your own Christmas tree at one of the outdoor vendors there. It's like a one stop shop for all things Christmas. Plus, beer.
I mean come on! With Santa's elves walking around and waving at you, how could you not have a great time? Bundle up though, it's all outdoors and it's usually pretty cold in Toronto at that time of year.

A visit with Santa and some hot apple cider for the ride home makes this an excellent place to enjoy for both adults and the kiddies. So if you live in Toronto and have never been, or are just visiting over the holidays, make sure to take in all the sights and smells and lights of Christmas, at the Toronto Christmas Market in the Distillery District.
